*We offer a FREE DELIVERY* service to large parts of New Zealand on all orders over $200

The Delivery rates for an order under $200.00 are:

  • Auckland Flat Rate - $6.99
  • North Island Flat Rate - $7.99
  • South Island Flat Rate - $9.99

** FREE DELIVERY for the Nursery furniture ( Wardrobes & Wooden changing tables , Dressers , Tallboys) are not-applicable due to size and weight of these items,
The delivery Rates are:
- North Island Flat Rate - Dressers / Tallboys $40.00 & Wardrobes $60
- South Island Flat Rate - Dressers / Tallboys $60.00 & Wardrobes $80

Normal delivery times are:

2-3 Working Days - Auckland
3-4 Working Days - North Island
4-5 Working Days - South Island
Add extra 2-3 days for rural locations


 Please note these times are an indication only, at certain periods Kapai Kids Furniture or courier companies may experience higher volumes in freight & therefore delivery may take a little longer.
Any orders placed after 11.00am will be shipped the next working day.
We are unable to specify times and/or days of delivery as we deliver through courier companies who keep their own schedules.
Couriers are unable to call or text prior to delivery. Please note we always do our best to work with the couriers for a prompt delivery service.

 

  CLICK & COLLECT Auckland : is order to be collected from our Showroom store at : 49B Cavendish Drive, Manukau, Auckland 2104

 Orders will normally be delivered via a courier company and are made between 7 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday. Smaller items will be posted through your letterbox, but for larger items, a card will be left should you not be there to accept the parcel. 

 Every effort will be made to fulfil orders placed with Kapai Kids Furniture website or in-store, but we shall not be liable to any person if Kapai Kids Furniture declines to supply the product(s) for any reason whatsoever. We reserve the right to decline orders without disclosing the reason behind that action.

Kapai Kids Furniture shall not be liable for failure to deliver on expected time whether the delay has been due to causes beyond the control of Kapai Kids Furniture or otherwise.

Please note that delivery charges are automatically detected by our system. However, in rare cases, the delivery charge may be wrong or may not show up. If this happens and you are paying by cheque or bank payment we will contact you to confirm the new delivery charge. If you are paying by credit card WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CORRECT THE DELIVERY FEE and charge you the correct amount without prior confirmation. Please feel free to give us a call to confirm your courier charge. We are not liable for any losses or delays if we can't reach you on the phone number or email address you provided when placing the order.

If the customer fails to sign or did not request for signature to be obtained on delivery of the products, the products shall be left at the delivery address, where courier driver feels it was safe to drop and be deemed delivered at that point in time. It is the customer's responsibility to give our company delivery instruction (like Signature required or Do not drop at the front door etc), our general instructions to the courier drivers are to drop the boxes at the delivery address if no instructions were given by the customer to do otherwise. The property and risk in the product shall pass to the customer upon delivery to the customer's delivery address, and when the courier company confirms that it has been delivered to the right address.

In the case of short or incorrect delivery you need to contact us as soon as possible. Any queries regarding the delivery of New Zealand parcels and the contents will not be considered after 14 days from dispatch date. Please inspect all items before signing for your parcel, if there is any damage you need to tell the courier driver and note it down when signing, as this is the Courier Company's responsibility.

Please note that for some rural areas the courier service will contact you to pick up the item from their depot due to the large size of the box. 

Important Ordering Note: Kapai Kids Furniture is unable to be delivered to rural addresses, island addresses, or PO Boxes ‚Äď sorry! Not sure if your address fits this category? Warranty: 

We stand behind all our products. 

All of our hardware items carry a 12 month RTB warranty (if not specially stated) against defects in materials and workmanship. Other items such as toys carry a 3 month limited warranty.

The warranty does not cover wear and tear or damage cause by misuse of the product.

All of our timber furniture unless otherwise stated carries a 12 months manufacturer’s RTB warranty.

Warranty will cover

  • Any defective part(s) that have failed if after inspection, ¬†it is due to a manufacturing defect or fault.
  • Warranty will not cover products that are:
  • Defective due to abnormal use or careless use.
  • Damage due to misuse, or use in such a manner that is deemed inappropriate.
  • Damage incurred from cleaning the furniture with unsuitable products.
  • Damage incurred from incorrectly assembling the product.

(Due to the unique characteristics of wood, you can expect to have knots and grains and other natural irregularities in the wood. No piece of wood is the same; these natural irregularities are not considered a defect and generally enhance the overall uniqueness and character of natural wood.)

  Kapai Kids Furniture: has the right to seek the return of any faulty goods or faulty parts from the customer and therefore customers should not dispose of any faulty products or parts without first consulting Kapai Kids Furniture staff. Should Kapai Kid furniture requires the return of the faulty product they will decide on arrangements on a case by case basis.

 Where Kapai Kids Furniture Warranty does not apply

This Warranty does not apply to any products sold as seconds, floor stock, repaired products or products that have a defect where this has been drawn to your attention before you purchased the products.

RTB (Return to Base) means the buyer pays for returning goods to us, we will fix or replace and pay for sending it to the buyer.
